One moment, please!

Here is what I did in about 10 minutes…

Daily Prompt: Ready, Set Go … Set a timer for ten minutes. Open a new post. Start the timer, and start writing. When the timer goes off, publish.

 

On Your Mark

Can you remember the last time you heard this phrase – “One moment, please!”? How many times have you heard it? The classical scenario, is waiting for a response after someone says …one moment, please! Then you wait for what seems like an eternity for the person to get back to you. Our time is precious, yet many times we will comment “I don’t know where the time went” or “If I had more time, there are so many things I could do?”

This begs the question – what would I do with more time? It is interesting how time eludes us sometimes and then there are times when we savour every minute of time. The truth is we all have the same amount of time each day. There are many times however when we hear “One moment, please! and we need to ignore the distractions and focus on the more important matters in our life.

Get Set

A moment is a brief period of time. How brief is brief depends on your current outlook. How often we think we are too busy to pause for a moment? As we journey along life’s path, should we wait until we have reached a specific destination to stop for a moment to plan our next steps? Take a moment to carve out time to reflect on where you have been, where you are going and take action to make time for living life.

There are many things that we can do with our time. Make a choice. Explore and enjoy the light of each new day and keep your eye on the prize. Cherish the moments in life.
Loving. Living. Laughing. Listening. Learning. Looking.
